Its portability and versatility allow the system to be used in a variety of harsh environmental conditions, ensuring that the military can conduct field tests on jammers at any time in an emergency.

  The core function of AN/GLM-11 is to execute pre-programmed test sequences, simulate possible threats, and measure the response of the jammer. These measurements are completed by building transmitter, measurement and sequence applications, providing operators with fast and accurate results. The device's display automatically generates pass/fail test results, and advanced users can call up a detailed spectrum display to further analyze the jammer's performance.
