TSA Liquid Limit

The amount of liquids that can be transported in a passenger's carry-on luggage when flying within the United States has been restricted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) is the current limit for any container that carries liquids, and all such containers must fit inside a single quart-sized clear plastic bag. Each beverage bottle must fit inside the quart-sized plastic bag and not exceed the 3.4-ounce limit if a passenger wants to bring more than one. There are some exceptions, though, for items like medicine, infant formula, and breast milk, which can be transported in higher quantities.
